Let's face it. If you're an Essay Like Nephew fan, you like whisky.
We have a long history of whisky-related songs. We only drink whisky on stage. Ben only drinks whisky full stop. I, for one, agree with Doug (the barman in Cocktail) that "Beer is for breakfast", and when I see a man ordering lager I tell him: "Beer is for breakfast". So you'll be pleased to know that entry to this show includes a shot of whisky.
I'm not going to write a 'free shot of whisky', because that's not really true is it. 'Free' is not the same as 'includes'. I mean, I hate to be a pedant and all, but if there's one thing in this beautiful, whisky-coloured world that irks me it's that...sort of...TRICKSY...ADVERTISING...LANGUAGE.
God damn it.
